INTRODUCTION
This is open to students who will be undertaking full time first degree courses at the preferred Malaysian and JPA approved international universities based in Malaysia.

Preferred Degree Discipline

Any Technical Engineering or Geosciences Discipline

*Students with physical disabilities (Orang Kurang Upaya) are not restricted in their choice and may apply to do a degree in any discipline.
Eligibility

Strong leadership skills and active participation in extracurricular activities such as societies and clubs, sports, etc.
Not presently holding other scholarship/loans.
Disabled Identification Card certified by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (where applicable)
Consistently strong academic achievements as follows:For Undergraduate studies
- Strong academic results in the STPM (minimum 3A+ or A- & 1B) or A-Levels (minimum 2A’s & 1B)
- Minimum of 3.5 CGPA at Matriculation / Diploma level

Applications

Applications may be submitted based on the latest semester results (for Matriculation, Diploma and ‘A’ Levels students) or trial examination results (for STPM students).
Shell Malaysia reserves the right to verify the information provided. Shell Malaysia aims to reflect the diversity of the communities it works in and will award the scholarships on this basis.

INTRODUCTION
Every year, we offer a number of scholarships to support students in achieving their personal goals and ambitions. Malaysian students planning to pursue full-time undergraduate studies (1st degree course) tenable at recognised universities in Malaysia or Overseas are eligible to apply.
Applications for the Shell Malaysia Scholarships 2012 are now open. Disabled students are encouraged to apply.
Shell Malaysia is offering two scholarships to students who wish to pursue post graduate studies at Universiti Teknologi Petronas in the following:

MSc in Petroleum Engineering
MSc in Geosciences

INTRODUCTION
Every year, we offer a number of scholarships to support students in achieving their personal goals and ambitions.Malaysian students planning to pursue full-time undergraduate studies (1st degree course) tenable at recognised universities in Malaysia or Overseas are eligible to apply. Applications for the Shell Malaysia Scholarships 2012 are now open.Disabled students are encouraged to apply.
This will be offered to students who plan to pursue their studies at the following universities and in these fields, in the United Kingdom or United States:

List of preferred overseas universities and degree disciplines:

Imperial College London – Geosciences, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
exas A&M University – Petroleum Engineering only
University of Bristol – Geosciences, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
University of Cambridge – Geosciences, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
University of Sheffield – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

The Sun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund 2012

The Malaysian Association of Private Colleges & Universities (MAPCU) in partnership with theSun will be awarding RM5.13 million worth of scholarships. The scholarships will cover tuition fee for courses at participating universities and colleges

Criteria

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
Applicants must posses good academic results in SPM/’O’ Level, UEC and/or STPM/’A’ Level examinations or equivalent.
Applicants must qualify to gain admission to the participating institution for the relevant course.
Applicants must be active in sports and/or co-curricular activities.
Applicants must possess leadership qualities and be self-motivated.
Applicants must financially deserving.
Applicants must not already be in receipt of any scholarships, financial aid or award from other educational institutions or organizations.
Applicants must abide by the terms and conditions of theSun-MAPCU Scholarship.
Applicants must abide by other terms and conditions of the awarding institution, including any bond required.

Terms & Conditions

The scholarship quantum shall be in the form of tuition fee waiver for the duration of the course as determined by MAPCU institutions.
The scholarship is for students to pursue courses in Malaysia at participating institutions or those specified by MAPCU institutions.The scholarship specifically does not cover any fees etc. which may relate to studies overseas unless specified by MAPCU institutions.
The scholarship shall be for the duration of the course as specified by each MAPCU institution . Students already enrolled at participating institutions may also apply. The students' scholarship shall be for the remaining part of their course.
theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund holder shall not receive any scholarship offered by other educational institutions or organizations.
On all matters pertaining to theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund, the decision(s) of theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund Awarding Committee (and relevant participating institution, as appropriate) shall be final and binding. No correspondences will be entertained.
Applicants may apply for scholarships to a maximum of two MAPCU institutions, but are entitled to only one scholarship.
Scholarship recipients are also subjected to other terms and conditions as may be decided by the participating MAPCU institutions.
Terms and conditions of theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund may be modified and amended from time to time as deemed appropriate by the theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund Awarding Committee.
Scholarship holders must pass all examinations and maintain good academic standing; participate in the institution's sports, co-curricular and other activities in order to maintain their scholarship status.

How To Apply
This form needs to be written clearly and legibly. Applicants are liable to disqualification should any false particulars or deliberate suppression of information be submitted. All required documents must be submitted with application.

Closing date: 10 April 2012 (Tuesday)

Applications received after the closing date will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY

Be Malaysian citizens of not more than 25 years of age as at 1st January 2012.
have excelled in extra-curricular activities & active in sports.
not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organizations.
for Foundation / Diploma courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the SPM / UEC or equivalent.
for the Higher and Advanced Diploma / Degree courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the STPM / A-Level / UEC or equivalent.

The Maybank Scholarship Programme aims to provide full sponsorship for high quality students in local and foreign premier universities. Requirements

Not more than 23 years of age.
